Ryan Tant is the Greater Elkins Area Experience Coordinator for Ascend WV. In his role, he facilitates the transition to life in the New River Gorge Region, helping Ascend WV members find community and purpose through outdoor recreation. Ryan earned his B.A. in Environmental Studies from Salisbury University in Maryland. He has national service experience as a two-year AmeriCorps Alumni and over three years working on the AmeriCorps Administration.
Ryan is also an accomplished ultrarunner and thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail unconventionally from North to South in 2022!
