Dr. Alice Morgan is our Program Coordinator and Research Specialist for Science Adventure School, where she is responsible for conducting research and evaluation as well as assisting with operations.

With a background at Shenandoah University where she coordinated outdoor recreation and sustainability programs, Alice arrived in West Virginia to earn her Ph.D. in West Virginia University's Recreation Parks & Tourism Program. Alice’s curiosity, hard work, and dedication rewards the Smith OEDC with innovative approaches to education in West Virginia, for the betterment of the state and its youth. She is proof that when you pursue your interests and hone your problem-solving skills, you can bring new ideas to the forefront and enhance a place that means so much to us all. In her free time, you will probably find Alice backpacking, birding, or tending to her garden.
