The New River Gorge Program Coordinator functions as a member of the OEDC’s Talent Attraction & Retention team and fulfills the overall mission of the OEDC in its specific region of the state. Under the direction of the Director of Talent Attraction & Retention, the Program Coordinator has specific oversight and responsibility for the programmatic aspects of the OEDC in and around Fayetteville, WV. This position shares in the planning, implementation, and management of high-quality programming to support program participants through their transition into the local community. Grants & Research Coordinator
This position will be tasked with the management, research, writing, and reporting of pertinent grant, foundation, and corporate sponsorship opportunities in the fields of outdoor recreation infrastructure, community development, public health, conservation, and economic development. This position will also be responsible for writing and editing development pieces for donors, prospects, state, local, and national funding agencies, along with government and corporate partnerships. Also, this position will support data analysis, topic specific research, research coordination, and the development and delivery of reports to advance the office's work. This position will work with and support the efforts of the WV Grant Resource Center.
