Logan Chapman is the Trails Training & Education Coordinator with the Brad and Alys Smith Outdoor Economic Development Collaborative. He works to advance recreation infrastructure development and community stewardship by educating local leaders on the principles of implementing and maintaining a sustainable trail system.

Chapman is a West Virginia native who completed his Bachelor of Science in Recreation and later, his Master of Public Administration from WVU. Logan has worked as a Ski Instructor, Raft Guide, and Outdoor Educator throughout West Virginia. He has also served as a Park Ranger with Maryland State Parks, where he helped develop Wolf Den Run State Park. Through these various roles, Logan has found joy in helping others realize Appalachia's promise.

In his free time, Logan enjoys whitewater kayaking, cycling, tackling home improvement projects, and enjoying a cold Hoo’s Your Daddy IPA from Screech Owl Brewing.
