Emily Huguenin leads the Ascend WV program as its director. She comes with a wealth of experience in team leadership and program development, which is an asset to the remote worker program as it expands into new locations and initiatives take the program to new heights.
Emily has been playing in the Mountain State most of her life and has pursued outdoor education as a career in 2006 while guiding adventure trips in the New River Gorge. Every year since then, Emily has been involved in environmental education and summer camp leadership in one form or another. Whether it is trail running, caving, foraging or backpacking, she is passionate about helping others enrich their lives through outdoor recreation while building up communities throughout the state.
